Argillaceous Installed!

Parial view of the Argillaceous Exhibition in the Nutting Gallery.

I wasn’t sure this exhibition was get completely installed in time for the Wednesday night opening. Or, because of the constant snow fall and cancelled classes, that their would even be an opening. Probably the biggest challenge was getting the work of Indiana artist Dana Goodman into the gallery on Tuesday afternoon. Dana was understandably stressed after his long drive in difficulty weather. Plus,  our loading dock, on which a path had been cleared the previous day, now had an additional foot of snow on it. Thanks to my friends and co-workers, Lambros Tsuhlares and Paul Padgett, we got the dock shoveled and assisted Dana in hauling in his huge and HEAVY work. That was a job, but it worked out just fine.

There were lots of positive comments from people at the opening reception, and even though the weather was not ideal, we had a great crowd. My thanks to all to all the artists who shared their work for this exhibition.
